Mel and Kim were an English musical act that achieved success in the late 1980s. Sisters Melanie and Kim Appleby, were noticed dancing in a nightclub in their native London and signed to a recording contract with Supreme Records under the guidance of production team Stock Aitken Waterman in 1985, and began releasing records under the name of Mel & Kim. Their single "F.L.M." reached #7 in the UK and album "F.L.M." sold over three million copies. 12inch "F.L.M." is next including club and dub mix.

FLM is thought to stand for "Fun, love, money" as referred to in the song. However, another source states that the title FLM is in fact an 'in joke'. Whilst in the recording studio and listneing to feedback, the sisters would often say "F*ckin lovely mate" to show their approval!
