Everything but the Girl are a two-person English band formed in Hull in 1982, consisting of lead singer and sometime-guitarist Tracey Thorn and guitarist, keyboardist, and vocalist Ben Watt. Walking Wounded is a 1996 album, their ninth studio release. It is their highest charting album to date, reaching number 4 in the UK and number 37 in the U.S. This was the first album in which they adopted a more electronic and dance style.
